In order to accommodate all of our customers, we ask that you change or cancel your appointment 12 hours before you are scheduled to arrive at maxwax. Should you fail to do this, you will be charged 50% of the cost of your service. With regard to lateness, we will hold your appointment for 10 minutes, after which time we cannot guarantee that you will be seen by a technician.
We pledge to provide you with the best possible service at a fair price. We promise a clean work space, no double dipping and that our waxing experts will wear gloves when waxing below the head. We promise that we will not pressure you to buy additional services and products.
We do not offer touch–up waxing and you should think twice about any salon that does. Hair grows in a cycle of three and it usually takes about four weeks for ALL the hair to be long enough to be waxed. This means that some hair, after 12 days or so, will be long enough to be waxed, BUT not ALL the hair will be ready to be waxed. If you pay for a touch–up you are essentially throwing your money away because even though some hair was removed, not ALL hair was removed. And guess what? In 12 to 15 days after your touch–up all those hairs that were too short are now long enough to be waxed. We call this "staggered re-growth" and we think it’s bad for your skin and for your wallet.
Please call us right away if you have a problem with your service. We ask that you check our work before you leave the salon so that we can fix or change anything on the spot. This will save you the time and trouble of coming back before you are ready for your next waxing session. If you forget to check before leaving and find that we have missed some hair, please let us know within five days and we will remove any missed hair at no charge to you. We will not issue credit towards future services or refund any money unless you come back to the salon to show us the problem and give us a chance to fix it.

We don’t allow children, friends or family in our waxing rooms. There is one exception to this rule: a parent may be present in the service room with a child who is under 18.
